3/2/06 update: NO SBD patches are given at shows. See this letter from RRE Mgt: "Hey Matt,
Thanks for writing. I appreciate you coming to us about this.
I wasn't actually aware that it says "maybe" on the Archive. In reality, we do not allow soundboard taping at all. This is something we began in the fall of 2005 to prepare for the new live album release, and we're continuing this policy.
Audience taping is completely allowed and encouraged, but we cannot make exceptions in our 'no soundboard taping' policy or that will open the doors to people coming to us over and over again with the request.
I hope you understand and appreciate our position.
On January 22, 2003, RRE management gave permission to Mike Moran for shows to be hosted at the Archive (and as of 12/2003, separate Todd Sheaffer and From Good Homes sections also exist):
Thanks so much for contacting me on this. Believe it or not, you're the first one who's laid this out for me.
We have a tape archivist now, John Major, and I've forwarded him this information and asked that he get us officially going on everything.
I agree that E-Tree is a great idea for us, and I look forward to have us as part of it.
Thanks again for bringing this to my attention!
and John Major also added:
Please accept our permission to allow Railroad Earth shows to be archived on
